What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy-based natural healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety and supports the body’s natural healing abilities through gentle touch.
Developed in Japan in the 1900s, the word derives from ‘rei’, meaning “universal” and ‘ki’, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things.
Now widely practiced around the world, Reiki is often used to compliment other forms of health treatments and aids in healing by helping people become balanced in their energy both physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
In-PERSON SESSION options
Reiki with Intuitive Guidance
1 hour | $80
A relaxing Reiki session using the Traditional Usui Reiki Healing approach, designed to support physical, emotional and stress-related concerns.
Sessions are held in my tranquil Bay View studio or at Be Different Studio in town. We begin with a short chat about your needs before you relax, fully clothed, on a massage table. I place my hands lightly on or above the body to support the flow and balance of your energy.
Many clients experience a deep sense of calm and may even drift off to sleep. I also weave intuitive guidance and insights into the session, and you’ll leave with brief notes, affirmations or inspiration to take into everyday life.
Clients often describe feeling lighter, grounded, strengthened and more empowered afterwards.
Reiki & Intuitively Guided Coaching
1 hour 30 minutes | $115
For those wanting more time to explore what’s happening in their life as well as experience a deeply relaxing Reiki treatment.
This session includes everything in the 1-hour Reiki treatment, with additional time for deeper healing and intuitive coaching tailored to your needs, goals or intentions.
I may draw on mindfulness, meditation and resilience tools alongside intuitive guidance and insight. This can be especially helpful when navigating difficult relationships, grief, emotional challenges or periods of change.
You’ll leave with practical resources and intuitive suggestions to help support positive changes between sessions, as well as the sense of calm, clarity and strength Reiki can bring.
Seated Express Reiki
30 minutes | $45
A quick Reiki boost for busy schedules. After a brief chat about your needs, you’ll receive Reiki while comfortably seated, leaving you feeling refreshed, grounded and re-centred.
Intuitive Oracle Card Reading
1 hour | $80
An intuitive reading offering guidance and insight around the areas of life you would most like clarity on.
I work intuitively and may receive messages or guidance from your guides or loved ones who have passed. You’ll choose two or three oracle cards relating to the questions or areas you’d like to explore, and the reading develops from there.
Your feedback during the session helps guide the flow of the reading. You’ll leave feeling uplifted, with greater clarity, perspective and direction.
DISTANCE SESSION OPTIONS
Not in Hawke’s Bay? At home feeling unwell and want help for the body’s natural healing to occur? Reiki energy can be shared from a distance.
Distance Reiki Healing with Intuitive Guidance
1 hour | $80
We begin with a video chat to discuss how you’re feeling physically and emotionally, followed by a distance Reiki healing while you relax at home.
I’ll also share any intuitive guidance or insights that arise during the session. Clients often finish feeling lighter, grounded, strengthened and more empowered.
Distance Reiki & Intuitively Guided Coaching
1 hour 30 minutes | $115
This extended session combines distance Reiki with more in-depth intuitive coaching.
We begin with a video call to explore your needs, challenges or intentions. Alongside Reiki, I may share mindfulness, meditation and resilience tools, as well as intuitive guidance to support you through relationships, grief, emotional challenges or life changes.
You’ll leave with greater clarity, practical support and tools to continue making positive changes between sessions.
Distance Reiki Healing Express
30 minutes | $45
Send through any physical or emotional concerns before your appointment, then relax at home while I send gentle Reiki energy from a distance. A simple way to reset, recharge and support your overall wellbeing.
Intuitive Oracle Card Reading
1 hour | $80
Connect with me via video for an intuitive oracle card reading focused on the areas of life where you’re seeking clarity or guidance.
You’ll choose two or three cards and I’ll intuitively interpret the messages that come through, including guidance from your guides or loved ones who have passed.
You’ll finish the session feeling uplifted, with greater clarity and direction.
Session Guidelines
It is best to wear relaxed clothing and afterwards drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. Ideally plan for a quiet time after your session to allow the healing energy to integrate. The Reiki energy continues to work for a few days so take extra care of yourself as emotions may arise and you may want time to alone to assimilate the session.
